In the Warli culture – each year is born in the Monsoon – for full bloom harvest – the rain God Narnadeva, and the birth is celebrated with Kamadi dance. When the harvest ripens – household Gods – Hirva, Himai & Jhoting are worshipped. When the crop is stacked and stored, it is the season of marriage and nupital bliss. Deity of marriage and fertility – Goddess Palaghat sits inside a ‘chaukat’ (door frame) with light & energy and blesses the newly weds.
